The restaurant can be easily reached within a 10 minute walk of Lansdowne Road or Sandymount DART Station. Baan Thai can also be reached from the city centre via public bus transport which leaves from Nassau St on a regular basis.The restaurant has an additional Dining Room upstairs which is located on the 3rd floor and makes for an excellent private function room for large groups, parties or special occasions. “If you want really good Thai food, this is the place to go.”

Both restaurants have been awarded the official Thailand brand certificate of Authentic Thai Products which was given by the Department of Export Promotion from the Ministry of Commerce in Thailand. This lays the foundations for what can be expected of Authentic Thai cuisine. Thai food is considered by many to be one of the world's best. Baan Thai's food, friendly staff and warm surroundings try to live up to that expectation.

The menu has an exquisite selection of Authentic Thai dishes that range from exotic Thai curries to tantalising stir-frys, all rounding Roast Crispy Duck, succulent Seabass, a wide range of seafood options, some spicy salads, and variety of noodle dishes. Vegetarian options are also available on the menu.
